What are we doing here?

It’s a good question!

The School of Earth Life is a work of art, a living, breathing place that resonates with its own voice. I’m an artist and former college professor, and have spent the last three decades in pursuit of Truth and Beauty. And Stella is a 11 years-young German Shepard. She teaches by way of her perfect example. Her quiet leadership led me from a life of servitude to a life of sovereignty.

Our interests include- but are in no way limited to- community, energy work, writing and language, plants and animals, music and sound, art and craft, healing and wellness, movement and meditation, food (Stella’s favorite) and medicine, stewardship and sustainable design, family and devotion.

We are learning how to live a good earth life, today and every day. Through storm and sunshine. Through laughter and togetherness, and through grief and separation. We are learning that the there is an undeniable, invisible but irrefutable fabric of love at the heart of all that is and all that will ever be.

Want to join us?

If you are local, we offer a variety of spaces to teach, learn and share. If you are “from away”, as they say, check out the residency! If you would like to have an event- like a festival or wedding- you might do that here as well! Come be a novice, make mistakes, play. You are a HUMAN. Opportunities- to make art, dig in the dirt and stand by a roaring fire- abound . Come expand, reflect, and connect.

With love,

Nicole and Stella
