Come learn how to grow and care for sourdough starter, and sample a few varieties of breads that I like to bake with it! You will leave with a belly full of organic, low-gluten, fresh bread and enough starter and understanding to go home and make your own! I like to use ancient grains like einkorn and rye! Interested kids are welcome. Date and time TBA, email your availability to register!

  • Saturday, April 25

    10am-2pm

Includes all materials and lunch (kids under 12 can attend with a parent!)

Spontaneous or automatic drawing, has roots in art history and art therapy. It can be used as a kind of somatic release or a way to start a more serious type of artistic inquiry. I like to think of it as a way of connecting to an intelligence that is beyond our everyday awareness, a higher self if you will. It’s also a fun, sometimes funny way to get past creative blocks of all kinds, and can be very therapeutic if you are in need. Kids are amazing at this, so if you have them, they are welcome! Limited to 20 participants, register by email here.

  • Saturday, 4/11

    10am-2pm

Includes all materials, coffee and lunch!

If you ever wanted to learn about loom building and basic rag rug weaving, now is a perfect time! The materials will be prepared for you in a kit, ready to assemble, warp, and weave away! Creative, social, meditative and productive! No experience necessary! Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Limited to 12 participants, register by email here.
