Creator Retreat
Are you an artist, musician, writer or healer?
Come reset, rewire, and refill your cup. The opportunity is geared towards those seeking contemplative time, primed for connection to the sacred spirit of this place, the natural world and its rhythms. Quiet spaces and healthy, homemade foods make collecting your thoughts the joy it should be. Walk for a few minutes through the forest to the nearby St. George River. Drive 12 minutes to a number of beaches, or to vibrant seaside town of Rockland, the “Art capital of Maine”. Camden and Rockport are just a few minutes further up the road. Accommodations include a private room and adjoining bathroom and studio for writing, making, or composing, with additional spaces including the temple, barn, fields forests and soon, Halcyon, the (earth-bound) sailboat!
In exchange for the peace and nourishment, plan to give a talk, workshop, or other offering to share with the community! Email your interest through the contact page!
Availability in the months of: May, June, July, September, October, and November 2026.

There’s no right or wrong. Come to work, come to play, come to rest. James Earl White, a Des Moines-based artist, made his work by the fire, collected things from the sea, and left a little taller than he arrived. Thank you for sharing your gifts, James.

Cutting things up can be brutal, but the delicacy of pinning it all back together is where the magic happens.
